International Congress on Thoughts, Achievements and Contributions of Amir Alī Shīr Navā’ī

Dear scholars and researchers,

 With God’s help, the Central Asia Research Center of Ferdowsi University of Mashhad in collaboration with Khorasan Razavi’s Culture and Islamic Relations Organization is planning to hold an international congress to honor Amir Alī Shīr Navā’ī, the bilingual poet, social critic, translator, culture and art advocate, in February 2015 to promote cultural, social, political, and economic relations between Iran and the Central Asian Countries. The congress aims to illuminate Shīr Navā’ī’s position and role in generating cultural unity amongst these countries. He was the founder of cultural and charity centers in Iran (particularly in Mashhad and Āstān-e Qods-e Razavi), Uzbekistan, and Afghanistan.
